Shell Canada Drilling on the Shelburne Bank

Dear Friends,

The Canadian Government  has just given Shell permission to drill for oil off the coast of Nova Scotia — and to let any blowout go uncapped for 21 days.

Can you join me in telling the Petroleum Board (who must approve this drilling) to refuse Shell’s application to drill in Nova Scotia?

Living Shorelines: A New Approach to Coastal Erosion Management in Nova ScotiaThe Ecology Action Centre, Helping Nature Heal and the Bluenose Coastal Action Foundation will be giving a presentation on “living shoreline” approaches to coastal erosion management.
